NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Village of Tannersville, NY is accepting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for the construction of Rip Van Winkle Lake Park located at 33 Upper Lake Road, Tannersville, NY 12845. Bids are and will be publicly opened and read aloud on July 20, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Tannersville Village Hall located at 1 Park Lane, Tannersville, NY 12485.
Contract For General Construction for Rip Van Winkle Lake Park: includes all labor, tools, and equipment to construct site improvements for the park. Site development
includes general excavation and grading, gravel driveways and parking areas, concrete and crusher dust surfaced walks, low natural stone walls, picnic pavilion,
playground equipment, kayak launch, fishing pier, flagpole, signage, site lighting and electric lines, stormwater management practices, site amenities, and landscaping.

Please note a pre-bid meeting was held via zoom and minutes are included in Addendum No. 1.
Online procurement of Construction Documents (digital PDF) may be obtained and viewed from the Village of Tannersville, Village Hall, 1 Park Lane, Tannersville, NY, Village Clerk (the issuing office) on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM, local time. An email must be sent to voffice@hvc.rr.com with a CC to tannersvillewater@gmail.com. Digital copies may also be obtained from Eastern Contractors Association, 6 Airline Drive, Albany, NY 12205 (Phone: 518-869-0961).
Prospective bidders who obtain electronic bidding documents from Eastern Contractors Association, The New York State Contract Reporter, or any other source, are required to contact the “Issuing Office” to register their contact information for the purpose of receiving bidding addenda and other bidding information. Printed documents may also be obtained directly at the “Issuing Office” for a refundable fee of $100.
Bidding documents may be viewed at the Issuing Office during the above time and at Studio A, Landscape Architecture and Engineering, DPC, 38 High Rock Ave, Suite 3, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (phone: 518-450-4030), Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM, local time. Please note that the Village of Tannersville is closed all legal holidays.
Please take note that This project is funded by the New York State Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund. Bidders should pay particular attention to requirements regarding prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, equal employment opportunity standards, and all other federal, New York State and local requirements as well as M/WBE utilization goals.
