NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Tannersville will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Tannersville Village Hall located at 1 Park Lane (5974 Main Street), Tannersville, NY 12485. Said public hearing will be to hear comments on the PROPOSED VILLAGE OF TANNERSVILLE REFUSE CONTROL LAW – A LOCAL LAW REGULATING THE STORAGE, HANDLING AND REMOVAL OF REFUSE
All persons interested in this matter shall be heard at time and place specified. Written comments may be submitted to voffice@tannersvilleny.gov or sent to the Village Clerk’s Office by Noon (12:00 PM) on Thursday, August 20th, 2026. Hard copies are available at the Village Clerk’s Office.

Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI)
The Village of Tannersville is one of the two winners in the Capital Region, and has been awarded $10M towards improvements that will help transform the downtown area. With technical assistance provided by the State and guidance from local planning committees and the public, Tannersville will develop a Strategic Investment Plan that identifies specific projects that align with a unique vision for revitalization of the downtown area.
