The Village is making a big play and applying for $10 million in funding through New York State’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative.  The program’s goal is making NY’s small downtowns and communities the “places where the next generation of New Yorkers want to live, work, raise a family and play.”   Only one community in our region will be chosen.  You can read more about the program at https://www.ny.gov/programs/downtown-revitalization-initiative.

Tannersville is a great success story.   Your input will truly make a difference in whether we make the cut and are selected. Whatever the outcome, just submitting a proposal will make people aware of our unique qualities, extraordinary community spirit and momentum.
