The Village of Tannersville and Town of Hunter will be celebrating 250 years of America’s Independence on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 with a community parade, live music and festivities at Upper Lake Park, Tannersville, NY 12485.

Parade Info:  Line up at Tops/Go Green Parking Lot starting at 1PM, step off at 2PM.  Parade will head East down Main Street, turn on South Main Street, ending at Upper Lake Park.  To register a float or marchers, please contact the Village Clerk’s Office.

Upper Lake Park Festivities begin at 3:00 PM and include live music all day with local bands and featuring Sonny Rock and the Torpedoes.  Bounce house amusements for the kids, vendors, lake activities, food and more until dusk.

The days grand finale will be fireworks display over Rip Van Winkle Lake at 9:30 PM.
